Thirty years ago, Jimmy Pedro won a bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
He had lost to a Mongolian player in the preliminary rounds but fought his way back through the repechage, to face Sebastian Pereira of Brazil for the bronze medal.
The Brazilian scored a yuko by countering Pedro's tai-otoshi.
Undeterred, Pedro attacked again with tai-otoshi.
This time it knocked Pereira down though it wasn't a score.
Without missing a beat, Pedro immediately followed up with uchimata. This landed Pereira flat on his back for ippon.
