2026 Dushanbe GS: Day 1

-48kg: Jamsran (MGL)
Anudari Jamsran scored in the last minute against Amber Gersjes (NED) with a sumi-gaeshi that scored yuko.

-60kg: Bliev (RUS)
Ayub Bliev scored three times on Artem Lesiuk (UKR). First, he scored yuko with kouchi-gari. Then, he did drop ouchi-gari for waza-ari. Finally, he did a drop cross-grip morote-seoi-nage for waza-ari-awasete-ippon.

-52kg: Giuffrida (ITA)
Odette Giuffrida defeated Aleksandra Kaleta (POL) through penalties in Golden Score. This was Guiffrida's eighth IJF World Tour gold medal.

-66kg: Emomali (TJK)
The home crowd had something to cheer for when Nurali Emomali defeated Azizbek Ortikov (UZB) with a pick-up counter that was initially given an ippon but was subsequently changed to waza-ari. It didn't matter. He was able to maintain his lead until the end of regular time.

-57kg: Mukhina (RUS)
Olga Mukhina scored a yuko against Ariunzaya Terbish (MGL) using a very low ouchi-gari when her Mongolian opponent was standing up from a newaza exchange. Since Terbish got up voluntarily and was not forced up, the throw counted. Midway through the match, Mukhina clamped on a Shiba Lock which lasted long enough for a yuko. The two yuko scores were enough for her to win the match.
